Pointing and repointing. Deteriorated joints ground out to proper depth and refilled with mortar matched in strength, color and joint profile. Using mortar that is too hard cracks historic brick — we match, we do not just fill.

Steps and stoops. Rebuilt or resurfaced front steps, landings and stoops in brick, block or stone, with proper footings, drainage pitch and non-slip treads.

Brick and stone repair. Spalled or cracked units cut out and replaced with matched material, plus lintel repair where rusting steel has jacked the masonry apart.

Chimney masonry. Crowns, rebuilds and flashing details handled by the same masons who do our chimney work, coordinated with the roofing crew so the roof-to-masonry transition is watertight.

Waterproofing. Breathable masonry sealers applied where appropriate, so the wall sheds water without trapping moisture inside the brick.
